Apply Today Meyer & Bowden Scholarship

To support the next generation of attorneys, we are opening the Meyer & Bowden Scholarship, providing $1,000 to one student per semester.

The funds from this award can be put toward any educational expenses in pursuit of a law degree, including class materials, tuition, and other necessary payments. All applications must be submitted before the final deadline of August 3, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

Before you apply for the Meyer & Bowden Scholarship, please review our eligibility requirements:

  • You must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 or above.
  • You must be a current or aspiring law student enrolled at an accredited school for the Fall 2026 semester.
  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • You must be a citizen of the United States.

Application Requirements

To be considered for the Meyer & Bowden Scholarship, interested students must respond to the following prompt in approximately 250 words:

Write about your background and why you believe you deserve the Meyer & Bowden Scholarship.

In addition to your typed essay response, we ask that you provide a letter of recommendation, proof of enrollment at an accredited school (such as an unofficial transcript or acceptance letter), and documentation demonstrating your achieved GPA.

Evaluation Criteria

Your essay will be judged by our scholarship team based on the criteria below:

  • Do you clearly explain why you should be considered for the award?
  • Do you reflect on the prompt with a personal narrative?
  • Can your essay be easily read and understood by our judges?
